Tyre Labelling

This is the external noise made by the tyre and is measured and quoted as an absolute value in decibels.

It is shown as a 3 classes sound wave symbol - the more black bars shown on the label, the louder the tyre.

 

A continuous sound level above 80 decibels can cause health problems.
